This week the Fall Protection Systems Sales team will be holding their annual Winter Sales Conference. During this semi annual event all of the outside territory representatives will be at the FPS headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.
This year’s agenda includes three days of collaboration, safety training, and new product updates for the entire team. Stay tuned for updates on all the exciting plans for the upcoming year!

Western territory changes are coming at the end of December. Bob Hartmann is retiring from Fall Protection Systems after many years of valued service. Bob provided many customers with solutions for fall protection as well as excellent client management. We wish Bob all the best in the future and him for his years of dedicated service.
In his place we have brought Chris Eberle on the team to take over the Western Territory (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California). Chris is a sales professional with several years of industrial sales experience. He has been working with Bob to make sure that the transfer of account management goes smoothly and seamlessly. Fall Protection Systems Welcomes a New Project Engineer
Fall Protection Systems is pleased to welcome Jeff Sheridan to the team. Jeff is a Project Engineer for FPS. He will be overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of custom projects. This role was added to the organization as our growth of custom applications continues to expand.
Jeff has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri. He has worked with other companies such as Champion International and has over 30 years experience in project management. Other industries of experience include paper, wood products, water & waste treatment, large aquariums & display fountains, and the steel industry.
As a St. Louis native, Jeff enjoys sports and cheering on the St. Louis Blues hockey team. His family has also lived in Ohio, Florida, and Texas. Should you have any upcoming fall protection needs requiring custom fall protection solutions, it is likely that Jeff will be involved in the engineering of your system!

FPS is Looking for a Mass Transit Fall Protection Specialist
The mass transit fall protection specialist will work as an inside sales representative from our sales office in Hazelwood, MO. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to promote our company and solutions. The sales position is application based to mass transit and has national coverage.
This is a salaried full time position that provides health benefits, bonuses and a retirement program. The individual we seek should be creative, self-motivated, organized, and solution oriented. Experience in the mass transit industry is recommended. Cold calling and prospecting is required.
- Effectively communicate a consultative solutions oriented sales approach focusing on mass transit industry.
- Promote company products and relate them to fall protection needs of mass transit.
- Outbound Telephone Sales and Appointment Setting Cold Calls (70%-90% of time) as well as Follow up Calls daily.
- Answer and follow up on incoming calls as needed.
- Qualify sales leads for potential applications, email responses and solicitations, and generate Site Survey appointments and budgetary quotes.

NDSC Safety Health Expo 2016
This week our fall protection specialists are exhibiting at the 2016 NDSC Safety Health Expo in Bismark, North Dakota.
